Research continues

Ok, didn’t have enough courage (and abilities) to build custom intake, so ended up with a compromise 🙂 Stock mani proved to be somehow ok regarding equal fill-up so the main goal was to free up the channels so the wave would take longer to travel pushing max torque higher up the rev range. It should help to push more air too ( avoiding reaching airflow speed as high as 300mph). Volume of the intake is a little low, but there is no options to make it much bigger, so increased the size of TB a little – now it’s ~70mm. This should a little bit increase virtual intake volume @WOT…well, i hope so.

The other main improvment should be freshly built Holset HTX40 – can’t wait to test this combination…. ahh still 3 months to wait 🙂
